Privacy

turbolabels is a static site. It sets no cookies. The label designer, barcode checker and their libraries are served from this site. Hosting services can process ordinary access data, such as your IP address and requested page, to deliver the site and investigate faults.

The barcode checker

The checker runs in your browser. The FNSKU or UPC you type is drawn and read back on your own device. It is not sent to us, not stored, and not added to any link, including the Etsy links.

The label designer and saved drafts

Your text, barcode and uploaded logo are processed on your device. The designer does not upload that artwork to Turbo Labels. When browser storage is available, it keeps your latest valid draft on this device so you can return to it. Browser storage can be cleared, so download an editable draft if you want to keep a copy. To remove the saved browser draft, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Downloading artwork saves a file on your device. If you choose to upload it to a Lighthouse Craftworks order on Etsy, Etsy receives the file and applies its own privacy policy. Lighthouse Craftworks will receive the artwork and order information needed to print and fulfil your order, including the purchased items and delivery details. Artwork references identify files; they are not payment confirmations.

Pages may link to other sites. Those sites have their own policies, and this page does not cover them.

The email list

If you subscribe, we keep your email address and the name you gave, if any, in a mailing list system we run ourselves. We use them to send you the emails you signed up for. You get a confirmation message first and nothing else until you click it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all further mail.
